UNIV 150A - Freshman Year Experience: Identity and Global Challenges Unit(s): 5 Designed specifically for first-year students at Sonoma State University, provides an interdisciplinary examination of social, political, scientific, and personal aspects of identity (fall semester) and our global connections and responsibilities (spring semester). Through writing, research, and creative assignments, students develop analysis, research, and communication skills vital to success in college. To satisfy GE Areas A3 and C3, students must take UNIV 150B the following semester. C- or better required in the second semester for A3 credit.
