ASTR 390 - Astrophysics: Galaxies and Cosmology

Unit(s): 3 Lecture: 3 hours
A quantitative study of: the nature of galaxies, their formation and evolution; the extragalactic distance scale; the structure of the Universe; active galaxies; cosmology and the early Universe.

Prerequisite(s): PHYS 314  and MATH 211 .
