BIOL 338 - Environmental Microbiology and Biotechnology

Unit(s): 4 Lecture: 3 hours Laboratory: 3 hours
Examines microbial ecology and diversity along with biotechnological applications of microbes in agriculture, wastewater treatment, bioremediation, and biofuel production. Satisfies the ENSP Hazardous Materials Management and Water Quality Technology core requirement.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 130  and BIOL 131  and CHEM 115A /CHEM 115B , or consent of instructor.
