Investigations to meet an advanced specialized study need beyond the department curriculum. The project should be planned and described in written form with consent of the faculty sponsor. May be repeated for credit up to 8 units.

Prerequisite(s): majors or minors in Biology, upper-division standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.0, and approved petition to enroll.
