BUS 360 - Introduction to Marketing

Introduction to terminology and basic concepts, including product development; pricing; promotion and distribution of goods, services, and ideas. Emphasis is on consumer orientation and managing the marketing function within an uncertain environment. Marketing information systems and other marketing foundations are applied to the consumer. This course is a prerequisite for the Capstone Course, BUS 491. Prerequisites for BUS 360 include all lower division Business major courses.

Prerequisite(s): MATH 131 or MATH 161 or MATH 131B or MATH 161B or MATH 161X, and ECON 204, and ECON 205, and BUS 211 or MATH 165 or MATH 165B or ECON 217, and BUS 225, and BUS 230A, and BUS 230B; or in RPRE group; or in RB60 group.
