Introduces relationships between self and society, including sociological social psychological theories and methods of understanding. Attention to the formation and change of self-identification, behaviors, attitudes and values, interaction and interpersonal dynamics, and emotions as well as the influence and impact on identities, social group networks, and culture.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of GE Golden Four (A1, A2, A3, B4) with a C- or better (A1 can be taken concurrently), completion of lower division GE D coursework and at least 45 units.
