SOCI 345 - Sociology of Families Unit(s): 4 Examines family meaning, structures, and relationships over time, place, and culture. Studies families in the United States and further makes comparisons to other countries in the world. Looks beyond individualistic explanations and examines how these family changes are related to larger structural, economic, and political shifts.
