SOCI 381 - Population and Society Unit(s): 4 Provides an overview of the field of population studies. Emphasizes a sociological approach; economic, geographic, anthropological, and biological perspectives will also be used. Discusses concepts related to the measurement and explanation of historical and contemporary trends in aging, birth rates, marriage, divorce, mortality, and migration/immigration.
