SPAN 300H - Advanced Spanish Language for Native/Heritage Spea

SPAN 300H is designed for native/heritage speakers of Spanish with communicative competence in speaking and understanding Spanish but little formal schooling in the language. SPAN 300H draws on the student’s bilingual linguistic and cultural resources to build the knowledge, self-confidence and engagement to successfully use Spanish in academic settings, thus building a foundation for continuing study and future professional success. SPAN 300H may count toward the California Added Bilingual Authorization (BILA) in Spanish for students continuing on to a multiple subject, single subject, or special education credential.

Prerequisite(s): Fluency in oral Spanish.
