SPAN 410 - Spanish Translation, Theory, and Practice

Introduction to Translation Theory; service-learning translation project. Survey of principal translation resources, critical evaluation of representative translations, and examination of translation techniques. Collaboration on a translation project with authentic texts provided by agreement with public service agencies representing a wide range of fields. Offered every other Spring semester.

Prerequisite(s): all 300-level classes or permission of instructor.
