EDEC 480 - Teaching Assistant and Leadership in Early Childhood Studies Unit(s): 3 Students will be introduced to topics related to teaching in higher education as they become more effective teaching assistants. Topics include principles and techniques of student engagement, reliable and effective assessment of students’ work, strategies to support a diverse body of students including those are non-native English speakers. Prerequisite: consent of instructor. Taught in hybrid mode. Course may be repeated once for credit. Fall & Spring
