ANTH 345 - Nature and Society: Topics in Anthropology and the Environment

Using the methods of anthropology, this course focuses on the study of environmental issues. The course covers the history of anthropological approaches to the environment. Selected topics such as human ecology, historical ecology, natural resource management, environmental justice, and environmentalism will be announced in the semester schedule. May be repeated for credit. Prerequisite: upper-division standing or consent of instructor. Variable Intermittently May be repeated for credit.
