BUS 476 - Risk Management and Insurance Unit(s): 4 This course focuses on identifying and evaluating risk exposures for individuals and firms. Insurance products or financial products can mitigate the effects of risk related losses, and this course introduces students to a range of insurance products sold or used in financial markets. The course provides an integrated approach to Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), which analyzes traditional business risks together with financial risks as a part of overall risk management of the firm.
Grading: GRD Prerequisite(s): BUS 370 or permission of the instructor. Teaching Mode: Taught in face-to-face, hybrid and online modes.
