ECON 421 - Seminar in Labor Economics Unit(s): 4 An analysis of the theory of labor supply and demand. Topics include: wage determination and the theory of human capital, labor force participation, antipoverty programs, the causes and consequences of wage inequality, theories of race and gender discrimination, the role and effects of labor unions, and the effects of the minimum wage on employment and income.
