ARTS 329 - Intermediate Ceramics Unit(s): 3 A studio course concentrating on wheel and hand building techniques to explore formal/functional issues in clay. Emphasis is placed on design issues, content, and developing a personal visual vocabulary through individual and group critiques. Laboratory exercises to develop color/texture in glazes and firing techniques are also covered. Lab fee payable at time of registration.
Prerequisite(s): ARTS 229. Typically Offered Fall & Spring May Be Repeated May be repeated once for credit. Textbook required. Grading: OPT
