ARTS 437 - COMMENCE: Sculpture Projects Unit(s): 3 In this intensive studio course, students learn the practical steps of creating public art projects including proposal writing, model building, oral presentations and fabrication. The large-scale sculptures are displayed throughout campus during the final weeks of the spring semester, including commencement. Critiques, field trips and writing assignments. Text book required. Laboratory fee due at time of registration.
Prerequisite(s): ARTS 436, or consent of instructor. Typically Offered Spring Only May Be Repeated May be repeated. Grading: OPT
