BUS 530 - Financial Statement Analysis Unit(s): 3 Students learn to analyze financial statements for the purpose of valuing the firm. The course takes a user perspective, not a preparer’s perspective. The course is an inter-disciplinary accounting and finance course. Students learn the limitations and complexities of the numbers used in valuing major components of the financial statements. Significant emphasis is placed on the current American regulatory environment, impending changes within that environment, as well as on international and global regulatory issues.
Prerequisite(s): Course open to MBA and Wine MBA students only. Typically Offered Variable Intermittently Grading: GRD
