LIBS 302 - Introduction to Liberal Studies

An interdisciplinary ‘gateway course’ examining the meaning of a liberal education, emphasizing seminar skills, oral and written communication, and introducing the portfolio. It is taken with LIBS 204, LIBS 205, or LIBS 304 (fall) or LIBS 208, LIBS 209 or LIBS 308 (spring) in the first semester of upper-division study. Students must earn a grade of C or higher to continue in Hutchins.

Prerequisite(s): Course restricted to LIBS Majors or Minors only.
