MATH 300B - Data, Chance, and Algebra Unit(s): 3 This course is designed for prospective elementary and middle school teachers. The focus in algebra is on patterns and functions, algebraic structure, representations and connections, and reasoning and problem solving. The focus in data and chance is on developing solid understanding of fundamental concepts and skills in statistics and probability, and on enhancing students’ understanding and skills in number and computation proportional reasoning, and algebra.
Prerequisite(s): Course Prerequisite: Grade of C- or better in MATH 300A required. Typically Offered Fall & Spring Grading: OPT
