MUS 420 - Musicianship IV

Continuation of Musicianshp lll. Begins with Mozart, and proceeds through Beethoven, Wagner, and Debussy into music of the 20th century. Emphasizes accurately singing and hearing music of increasing chromatic complexity using an intervallic approach to augment tonal hearing. Listening and analysis activities focus upon selections of great works from Mozart to Stravinsky.

Prerequisite(s): MUS 320 or equivalent.
