ASTR 350 - Cosmology Unit(s): 3 Lecture: 3 hours A survey of what we know about the Universe and how scientists have learned it. Topics include the Big Bang, cosmic inflation, surveys of galaxies, the origin and evolution of structure in the Universe, dark matter, and dark energy.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of GE Golden Four (Areas 1A, 1B, 1C, and 2) with a C- or better, completion of lower division 5 coursework, and at least 45 units.
