LIBS 201 - Exploring the Unknown

This course is an investigation of the meaning and limits of “knowing.” How and what we know and do not know, have faith or doubts, believe or are skeptical, will be pursued through texts, seminars, films, speakers, and experiences. In our search we will investigate indigenous knowledge, physics, magic and illusion, philosophy, and misinformation. We will sharpen our analytic skills while working with a variety of texts and academic disciplines, as well as explore and exercise our critical, spiritual, and creative selves.
