This on-line course examines historical, cultural, philosophical and artistic influences on relationships, gender expressions and sexuality among various lifestyles within the United States and the world. Specific perspectives within these foci include historical events and philosophies as they have influenced cultural mores, artistic expression and literature shaping human sexual health, values, beliefs and behaviors. If you feel sexual material could be offensive to you then you should not take this course.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of GE Golden Four (1A, 1B, 1C, 2) with a C- or better and completion of lower division 3 coursework and at least 45 units.
