POLS 455 - Comparative Reproductive Rights Unit(s): 4 This course is designed to explore reproductive justice issues in-depth, as well as to look at reproductive rights in the political contexts in which they are situated. We will study the most important questions related to reproductive rights from four major sets of perspectives: historical and cultural; medical and scientific; philosophical, moral, and religious; and political and legal. We will consider each of these sets of perspectives in depth across several major studies such as Ireland, Romania, the United States, or country cases from around the world.
