POLS 498WIC - Senior Seminar Unit(s): 4 This is a capstone course for majors to integrate their understanding of the discipline by exploring the interrelationship between the substantive subfields, basic concepts, and the major modes of analysis current in political science today. Over the semester, students will develop their own research topics, engage in scaffolded writing assignments, receive faculty and peer feedback, and complete a substantial original research project. This course will fulfill the Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement (GWAR) required for all students that complete the course with a C- or better. To get credit towards the POLS degree, students must pass with a C or better.
