KIN 427 - Adaptive Physical Activity: Theory to Practice

This course is designed to give students a practical understanding of the importance of adapting physical activity for individuals with disabilities. Upon completion of this course students will be capable of designing, implementing, and evaluating physical activity programs to meet the needs of individuals with a variety of disabilities. Built-in hands-on learning will be offered to apply the content knowledge learned in the classroom to our service-learning activity through Seawolf Fit program participation.

Prerequisite(s): Kinesiology and Early Childhood Studies majors; upper division standing; or consent of instructor for other majors.
