GEOL 205 - Mineralogy Unit(s): 4 Lecture: 3 hours Laboratory: 3 hours Principles of crystal chemistry, crystallography, and properties and origins of common rock-forming minerals. Laboratory sessions emphasize hand specimen and petrographic mineral identification characterization.
