SOCI 312 - Sociology of Gender Unit(s): 4 Considers gender as a social construction and a product of social life. Analyzes how gender inequalities shape social structures, institutions, and interaction for both women and men. Challenges biological explanations for gender differences and inequalities. Focuses on analysis of gendered experiences as they relate to race/ethnicity, class, and sexualities.
