SOCI 370 - Sociology of Transgender Studies Unit(s): 4 Investigates social life utilizing transgender experiences and identities as analytical frames. Theoretical and historical frameworks explore the socially constructed nature of transgender and cisgender identities and experiences in everyday life and social institutions. Topics include contemporary issues facing transgender persons in transition, embodiment, relationships, and private/public interactions.
