BUS 554 - Social Entrepreneurship In Theory and Practice Unit(s): 3 This course examines the theory and practices of social entrepreneurship. The course will examine how entrepreneurial solutions can be fashioned and applied to job creation, workforce development, and meeting other social needs. Specific topics include: social responsibility, venture philanthropy, opportunity assessment, market analysis, financial principles of sustainability, micro enterprises, and nonprofit organizations.
