EDEC 536 - Policy and Advocacy for Early Childhood Professionals Unit(s): 3 Students will understand early care and education systems and policies, and the cultural context of leadership. They will identify, analyze, and implement: advocacy skills to promote social justice in early childhood settings; collaboration strategies with diverse families and community organizations; conflict resolution strategies; systems and change development; adult and community development; and advocacy and policy formation.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate student in MA-ECE or permission of instructor. Typically Offered Spring Even Years May Be Repeated No Teaching Mode: Online Grading: Graded
