BIOL 334 - Biology of Fishes Unit(s): 4 The study of fishes, also referred to as ichthyology, includes a wide range of topics such as taxonomy, systematics, biogeography, anatomy, physiology, behavior and ecology. This course will focus on form and function, behavior, physiology, life history, and ecology of freshwater and marine fishes. The associated lab Includes taxonomic identification, experimental design and data analysis. At least two 5-hour field trips outside of scheduled class time.
