* History majors must meet 3 of 4 breadth requirements (European History, American History, World / Regional History, and Thematic / Comparative / Global History. Students must also meet the dept. Chronological requirement with at least one elective UD course Pre-1800, and one elective UD course Post-1800. Note that HIST 380 and 498WIC do not meet these breadth requirements.
**A maximum of three (3) units of History electives, such as SOCI 299, may be lower-division.
